Chapter 397: Hatred of Eating Meat and Drinking Blood
Nami’s concepts and logic made Ye Fan and Mengyao particularly depressed. But then again, in her mind, Michael and Lani were enemies. Calculating like this, her willingness to sacrifice herself to draw Ye Fan to her side might be understandable. However, her thoughts were really hard to accept.

"Stop crying." Hearing Nami’s words, Mengyao was also overwhelmed with sympathy and did not have the heart to blame Nami for being stupid. Instead, she went to Nami’s side and gently hugged her to comfort her.
Nami cried and cried, and after sobbing for a while, she finally stopped crying.

She never expected that Ye Fan seemed to not like women. "Looks like we need to have a talk." Ye Fan said calmly, "To help you understand our intentions, don’t do such foolish things anymore. Explain what you’re thinking."
"Nami, you’re so foolish. Do you think that even if you sacrifice your body, it will make us stand with you to fight desperately against the rebels and warlords?" Mengyao asked helplessly.
"Isn’t it so?" Nami retorted.
Mengyao said gloomily, "Of course not. If such a thing really happened, what if Ye Fan wiped his mouth clean and denied it? Wouldn’t your sacrifice be in vain then?"
