Chapter 391: The Price of Immortality
Nami in Ba Country represents the side of justice, while Michael is the faction of evil. The clash between justice and evil naturally breeds hate and intent to kill. Naturally, Nami calls Michael and his group rebels, but Michael and others don’t think so. The rebels regard themselves as the legitimate force, aiming to kill Kasam and become the masters of Ba Country.
To achieve their goals, the rebels have committed numerous crimes, using all means possible, and Nami naturally hates them to the core.
Given such a relationship, the encounter between Nami and Michael naturally brims with murderous intent.
Michael is one of the main leaders within the rebels. If he were an ordinary minor character, Nami wouldn’t possibly know him.
"Michael, you dare come here, you’re simply courting death." Nami admonished. She could guess some of Michael’s background, but this place is government territory, which infuriated her. In a fury, she said to Ye Fan and Mengyao, "I strongly suggest killing Michael to set an example and eliminate this sinner."
Michael never expected to encounter Kasam’s secretary and was startled, but he collected himself, ignored Nami, and respectfully bowed to Ye Fan and Mengyao, saying, "Gentlemen, I represent Yahward and greet you."
Ye Fan and Mengyao are the hosts, so Michael naturally acted very politely, not daring to be presumptuous in any way.
Yahward, the leader of the rebels, Michael was afraid Ye Fan and Mengyao didn’t know, so he made a point of introducing him.
Mengyao looked at Nami, who wished she could eat Michael alive, and the polite Michael, not knowing how to resolve this matter. After glancing at Ye Fan, she said nothing and made no other moves.
