Dr. Zhang could only look on as Dr. Liu led Situ Xin toward the changing room of their operating theatre.
"This is the changing room for the operating theatre," Dr. Zhang said to Situ Xin.
"Mm," Situ Xin answered briefly before she walked in and began a series of preparations necessary before entering the operating theatre.
Watching Situ Xin donning a mask, a cap, and washing her hands diligently as part of the preparatory work for entering the operating theatre, Dr. Zhang belatedly asked, "Little sister, what are you doing?"
But Situ Xin paid him no attention as she finished her preparations, took a needle box out of her bag—actually from her space—and then brushed past Dr. Zhang on her way to the operating theatre.
"Hey, hey, little sister, wait, you can’t go in. You can’t just waltz into the operating theatre," Dr. Zhang called out anxiously, hurrying after Situ Xin to stop her.
