Xiang Yang took the materials passed over by Situ Xin. Looking at those materials, an idea suddenly flashed through Xiang Yang’s mind, and he seized upon it. "Leader, something just occurred to me. These discs were from one of the individuals you had specifically told us to pay attention to when we received this mission. I’m wondering if this incident could be related to our current assignment?"
When Situ Xin heard Xiang Yang say this, her brows furrowed, and she began to ponder deeply. Knowing that this gesture meant Situ Xin was deep in thought, Xiang Yang and Mei did not disturb her. They went about their own business instead.
Situ Xin, prompted by Xiang Yang’s reminder and linking it to previous events, indeed felt that Xiang Yang’s conjecture was very accurate. "So that’s what it is. The person isn’t targeting me but the entire Situ Family. He thinks the list is with the Situ Family. No wonder."
After clarifying, Situ Xin guessed that if the discs in her possession were indeed the ones she and her family were looking for, then that person would likely use these discs to negotiate with the Situ Family for the exchange of the list.
With that, Situ Xin couldn’t wait to return and check whether those discs were indeed what she was looking for, so she could more accurately infer what those people were after. "Xiang Yang, Mei, I’m heading back first."
"Leader, you’ve just arrived; why are you leaving so soon? We haven’t even had a chance to spend time together." The mood swing of this pregnant woman was instantaneous. Mei, who had been in a fairly good mood just before, now adopted a pitiable expression as soon as she heard Situ Xin was leaving, looking as though Situ Xin had callously abandoned her.

He coaxed Mei: "Mei, the Leader really does have urgent matters to attend to. Look, if she doesn’t come to see you in a few days, I will take you to find her."
