"Yeah, Baby is back," said Situ Xin, sensing that something was off in the atmosphere at home. Nonetheless, she smiled at Old Master Situ and then walked straight over to sit beside him. "Grandpa, did you miss Baby?" Situ Xin didn’t like to see her grandfather with a stern face, looking preoccupied.
"Of course I missed my darling granddaughter," replied Old Master Situ, his mood lightening a little with Situ Xin’s arrival. Situ Jin also walked over and found a seat beside Situ Xin.
"Baby, after such a long time, don’t you recognize Brother Che anymore?" Situ Xin had been so focused on coaxing Old Master Situ that she hadn’t noticed the person sitting in the house. She looked up in surprise when she heard Situ Che’s voice.
She looked toward Situ Che, who was sitting at the other end of the sofa, and with a beaming smile, she stood up and threw herself into his arms. "Brother Che, you’re finally back. Baby missed you so much." Situ Che was now 18 years old and already a strapping young man.
