"So that’s what it was." Situ Xin nodded her head. "Let’s go out then."
After leaving the space, Situ Xin lay on the bed, but before she even had time to arrange anything, Baibai laid down beside her very obediently, and then said something that took Situ Xin by surprise, "Master, good night, sweet dreams."
"Ah, uh, Baibai, good night, sweet dreams." Situ Xin hadn’t expected the tiger to be so polite.
That night, or rather, the wee hours of the morning, both the person and the tiger slept especially soundly. If Situ Xin had been awake, she would have been amazed to find a satisfied expression on Baibai’s tiger face.
Early in the morning, Situ Xin got up. This must have been the earliest she’d woken up in years. She did this not because she was afraid her mom, Loo Yaxin, would come to her room and get scared by Baibai lying next to her, so she had to wake up before her mom came to get her out of bed.
"Baibai. Time to get up." Situ Xin, having washed up, came to rouse Baibai, who was still lying in bed asleep.
"Don’t wanna, let me sleep a bit more." Situ Xin watched Baibai’s tightly closed tiger eyes and listened to his words, finding the moment quite amusing. What a pair, a pet like its owner.
"Well, then I’m leaving, okay?" Situ Xin said with a smile, looking at the adorable sleeping form of Baibai.
