Chapter 6-Ugly Pig
Yuuta staggered back on his two frogman legs, the ground trembling beneath him with each approaching THUD.
"Oh fffffucking great," Yuuta hissed, green fingers twitching, pupils dilated. "That didn’t slow him down one damned bit. What is this fat bastard made of, trauma and cholesterol?!"
He barely had time to finish his thought before the pigman dipped into a sudden crouch, his fat, armor-clad legs compressing like overloaded springs. Cracks spiderwebbed across the rocky ground beneath his hooves. For a heartbeat, silence.
Then BOOM—
The giant shot into the air like a nightmare ballerina, absurdly graceful despite his bulk. His enormous body, wrapped in scorched iron and steam, left a deep crater behind as he launched forward, his monstrous club spinning in midair beside him like the goddamn hammer of war.
"WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FROG FUCK?!" Yuuta shrieked, staggering backward, his webbed feet slipping on loose gravel. His whole amphibian body trembled.
It wasn’t just the jump—it was the sound. That horrifying pig scream that accompanied the launch, like the dying squeal of a beast on a butcher’s slab, shredded through the air. Even birds fled the valley.
Yuuta’s instincts screamed at him to run.
But his legs didn’t move.
His body locked.
Fear, raw and primal, slammed into him like a cold tide. His frogman knees buckled for a moment.
