After about two or three seconds of deadlock, the Meteor Mash broke through the shield and went straight for Slowbro's dumb-looking, silly face.

However, in the last split second, with the Meteor Mash only five centimeters away from that silly face, Slowbro's body glowed faintly blue again.
The semi-transparent hemispherical protective shield reappeared, completely blocking the weakened Meteor Mash from making contact!
