The Protagonist's Sister Is Actually The Strongest

Chapter 448: Surpass Your Limits, Song!

-----

Song knew he didn’t have enough time to let his gift fully mature.

He had been born with incredible power, yet he had never been able to train properly.

Even during the time he spent as the embodiment of his own records, most of his powers had remained dormant until now.

When he finally reunited with the rest of his soul, he not only returned to normal at last but also regained his body completely.

“Surpass your limits right here, right now, son.”

But now he understood that none of that truly mattered. He wasn’t sure if what he had heard was merely a hallucination, a way to cope with his father’s death, or something else entirely.

As Song faced the monstrous Demon General, he knew he couldn’t falter or hide behind excuses like “lacking training.”

He had to win.

Even in this dire situation, he would push his abilities to the limit and beyond, so his father’s death would not be in vain.

“Yes, Father. I will surpass my limits. Right here, right now.”

“RAAAAAHHHH!”

The furious Demon General swung his four giant scythes, rapidly slicing through Song’s golem and reducing it to mere shreds.

CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!

“That was pathetic! Do you have anything else to offer, or was that all you’ve got, birdie?!”

The giant mantis-like demon laughed. His fiery body leaped toward Song, swinging all four scythes at him.

“DIE!”

Song looked at him, his crimson and golden eyes shining brightly. His Aura, split between gold and black light, began manifesting from his body.

The space around Song warped, filling with countless colors as clouds formed and rapidly wrapped around him in a protective barrier.

Morax roared furiously and unleashed a barrage of terrifyingly powerful attacks that shook the entire domain. Cracks spread across the floor, accompanied by violent explosions of flames.

“YOU’RE TRYING TO USE DAMN CLOUDS TO PROTECT YOURSELF?! ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID OR SOMETHING?!”

As his scythes began destroying the Heavenly Clouds wrapped around Song, the young man had already devised a new plan.

“Of course not. Those were Heavenly Clouds, a manifestation of my own Aura. It is as if Heaven itself is protecting me.”

“HAH?! LIKE HELL I CARE! AIN’T NOBODY PROTECTING A LITTLE SHIT LIKE YOU!”

The moment the clouds fully dissipated and Morax lunged at him, Song pressed his bare hands against the burning floor.

“DIE!”

The four scythes rushed down at lightning speed.

And yet…

“{Matter Restructuration}: {Trembling Azure Seas}!”

TRUUUM!

“NGH?!”

Morax suddenly stumbled as he found himself surrounded by a freezing azure ocean swirling violently around him.

“What?!”

His eyes widened in disbelief.

In a single moment, the burning landscape had transformed into a vast sea.

“He has… Matter Restructuration?! He can manipulate matter itself?!”

Although most Constellations possessed some level of matter manipulation, none of it reached this caliber.

Even more astonishing, Song didn’t look the least bit tired after performing such a feat.

The water was far from ordinary.

“{Trembling Azure Seas Echo}: {Chaotic Heavenly Sea}!”

SPLAAASH!

The oceans he had created suddenly rumbled and churned, swirling wildly around Morax. His entire body was tossed about, trapped in the heart of a gigantic sea storm. The water relentlessly drained his body heat, which was critical for most demons who did not specialize in the Frost Element.

Morax tried desperately to free himself, but giant hands emerged from the sea, grasping his massive body and dragging him back down mercilessly.

As he continued screaming in rage, Song concentrated. His Aura spread through the ocean, merging with his Matter Restructuration, one of the Skills born from his Innate Talents after Anna had sponsored him.

Morax kept fighting back, constantly being pushed under and drowned. The immense pressure of the seas crushed his limbs as small cracks began spreading across his hard exoskeleton.

“I WON’T… LOSE SO EASILY, PUNY CHILD!”

Morax roared furiously. His Infernal Aura surged, manifesting a giant Demonic Battle Aura resembling a massive insectoid chimera that started tearing the seas apart.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

RUMBLE!

The entire ocean trembled, as did half of the Domain created by Lucifer. Yet Song refused to stop, relentlessly controlling the waters.

“I won’t let you escape!”

He poured everything he had into the technique, infusing the oceans with both darkness and holy light.

“{Chaotic Heavenly Sea Echo}!”

FLUOSH!

Suddenly, Morax’s eyes widened as he glimpsed dozens of giant serpents made of glowing holy water and black miasmic water.

“{Abyssal One Hundred-Headed Holy Sea Serpent}!”

The manifestation, born from Song’s powers and imitating his father’s incredible Demonic Cursed Seal Techniques, roared mightily. It wrapped around Morax’s entire body and bit him relentlessly.

Morax groaned as his body was forced deeper and deeper into the ocean. Song relied on this new technique with everything he had.

Until the Demon General was fully submerged and the intense heat his body produced was almost completely extinguished.

“D-Did I do it?”

Song felt a slight wave of relief as he looked down at the oceans he had created.

Until suddenly, countless bubbles rose to the surface, accompanied by thick steam.

“Eh?!”

BOOOMMM!!!

Song was hurled backward by a powerful demonic shockwave. The entire ocean he had manifested evaporated instantly into steam. Amid the thick white vapor, he spotted a figure.

“Don’t think a cheap trick like this will ever be enough, bastard…”

It was Morax. His bulky armor had vanished, leaving him sleeker and far less massive. Above all, he now released such an overwhelming level of heat that not even an entire ocean could contain him.

“Ah!”

Song’s eyes widened. Morax was suddenly right in front of him, swinging his scythes and striking him repeatedly. A brutal barrage of kicks, slashes, and bites engulfed him completely.

Song screamed in agony as his small body was slammed repeatedly into the ground. Morax chased him mercilessly, attacking with all his strength.

“I’LL RIP YOU TO SHREDS, YOU LITTLE SHIT!”

Morax’s scythes sliced through Song’s body, covering him in deep, bleeding wounds. Several feathers were shredded from his arms and legs as he tried desperately to defend himself.

“W-Wait—AAAGGH!”

“WAIT?! YOU’RE ASKING A DEMON TO WAIT?! THIS IS A BATTLE OF LIFE AND DEATH, FUCKING IDIOT! GAHAHAHAHAH!”

Morax laughed as he watched Song scream in agony and cry while begging him to wait. His legs overflowed with demonic power as he crushed Song’s stomach and slammed him into the floor.

BOOOMMM!!!

Song proved to be immensely tough, however. Even though Morax unleashed attacks that should have torn him apart, he only suffered superficial wounds at first instead of being reduced to pieces.

“JUST HOW DAMN TOUGH ARE YOU?! GYAHAHAHA! IT MAKES THINGS MORE FUN ANYWAY! YOU’LL BECOME MY NEW SANDBAG!”

CRAAASH!

As Morax kicked Song into the skies and the boy stared at the fiery red clouds above him with blood streaming from his eyes, time seemed to slow down for a moment.

Then Morax appeared above him, moving at an insane speed.

“A-Ah…”

He looked at the monstrous demon smiling with its massive insectoid mandibles as the four scythes rushed down toward him, overflowing with demonic energy.

“{Infernal Shredder}!!!”

In a split second, Morax attacked with the same Skill he had used before, unleashing a never-ending inferno of cutting blows. The blazing strikes battered Song’s body, crushing him like a ragdoll.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

Song vomited a mouthful of blood as he felt his ribs shatter, piercing his lungs and stomach. He plummeted from the sky and slammed into the ground, destroying it on impact. Covered in demonic flames, his fall resembled a meteor strike.

BOOOMMM!!!

The ground burned fiercely around the giant crater he had created. His body was covered in burns, deep slashing wounds, and heavy bruises.

Several bones were broken, but miraculously none of his limbs had been severed and even his eyes remained intact.

However, could anyone truly call that lucky at this point?

“A-Aaah… Haaah… Haaahh…”

Song could barely breathe. Blood clogged his lungs as immense pain coursed through every part of his body.

Morax glared down at him from above, savoring his agony and suffering, as he began to manifest something — demonic magic.

“Let’s see… What should I do to finish off a shitty brat like you?”

He raised all four of his scythes and conjured a giant blazing sphere of pure demonic energy.

“This should be enough to end you once and for all!”
