From Slave to King: My Rebate System Built Me a Kingdom With Beauties!

Chapter 68: Chieftess Or Beast!?

Vrognut was a smart goblin, but his nose gave him the upper hand as he could perceive even the slightest abnormalities. However, Kraghul had managed to counter his only weapon that gave him the extra edge.

Goblins were strong in numbers, but this didn’t make them immune to fatigue, unfortunately.

There was nothing that could be done because Kraghul had been fooled.

"Is the road cleared?" Kraghul asked, and the goblin nodded to confirm this. The two goblins on the horses were the ones who did the manual labor.

There was no doubt they ranked higher, yet they were doing jobs more suited for foot soldiers.

However, they had skills that weren’t normal for goblins, as it was only Vrognut who was a problem.

The goblin nodded from his horse. Vrognut was on the floor; he had taken a piece of the orc’s meat to consume along the way despite its rotting state.

The digestive acids they had were stronger than that of humans, so it accepted anything — even the most disgusting of meals.

Vrognut already knew the others he left behind must be dead and didn’t show much remorse about it. The goblins had to have something to live and die for.

He discovered very early that the Goblin King might be a myth — or he would have brought down his sword of justice and taken his life long ago.

Yet he killed and killed, but there was no consequence, and this dispelled the illusion of a superior figure standing at the pinnacle.

Vrognut knew the others wouldn’t make it and didn’t bother waiting for them.

The two horsemen with him waited for him to gather up, but Vrognut knew they were close.

If there was a battle ahead, it would be in their favor to be well-rested.

This was something Kraghul didn’t expect; he assumed they would at least cover the distance of the area scouted, but Vrognut was in no rush to do so.

He knew they had time, and while they wouldn’t have the advantage of sight,

Vrognut knew the orcs might appear at any time now — and if they were going to fight, he would rather they fight where they couldn’t draw attention from others.

This place was far out enough, but Vrognut knew the orcs wouldn’t attack them right now if they had any sense. They would most likely do so when the sun descended.

Their noses wouldn’t fail them — especially his — and Vrognut couldn’t wait to see Drekk.

Drekk might be an impulsive fiend, but he was one of the few goblins who had connections.

This connection didn’t come from power or influence, but blood.

Because he was the other brother among the two, which was why Byung was now in a race against time.

There was no telling what Vrognut would do to the goblin who humiliated his brother.

Maui was glad to be alive and properly fed. She returned to her tent with a satisfied face, but she knew she had to meet the one who led them.

This was very important, but she had no way to sway them even if she met them, because this tribe had taken themselves out of the equation of the real world.

They had no interest in what was happening since they had everything they needed on the mountains.

They were outcasts even among their own people, but this was also why Maui knew they would fit in with the goblins.

She hadn’t seen a single male orc, which was strange, but that would explain why they removed themselves from the world of man.

But the last time she recalled, this tribe had a history of only accepting Chieftains, as Chieftesses were generally not qualified to lead them — or at least, this was one of their iron-clad rules.

Each tribe had its own rules, and no one could change or interfere with them.

This was how they coexisted, and Maui realized the women must have revolted against those rules.

There was no doubt more female orcs would have no problem settling into the goblin settlement due to the lack of females.

But Maui didn’t want to reduce them to reproducing machines — though something told her Byung had better uses for them outside of sex.

Even though she knew a few would have to be sacrificed for the continuation of the goblins.

And she wasn’t worried; if it was Byung penetrating them, there should be a higher chance of successful births, at least.

The quality in his semen would also make sex enjoyable for them because she couldn’t be the only one to have a taste of something so good.

The only downside to all of this was the fatality rate — it was certain death, and that would dissuade a lot of orcs, especially those who would lay with goblins of lesser quality in terms of semen.

But the majority of them would be given a role that involved strength. Byung was different and saw past sex.

"The Chieftess has requested you come," an orc informed her from the entrance of her tent.

Maui knew she had to present a good argument; otherwise, there would be no killing two birds with a single stone.

She wondered how they managed to escape the orcs’ barricade and noticed the path on the mountains had no restrictions.

They could move wherever they wished, which meant the rules of entry didn’t apply to them.

It wasn’t like the mountain was a place anyone would be excited to live on, as it lacked almost everything the ground dwellers enjoyed.

But Maui was beginning to understand that the partnership they could build might also grant them unrestricted access to the outside world.

She hurried up and went to see the Chieftess, but the moment she stepped outside, her nose caught a whiff of something.

"Everyone stop!" she shouted, forcing everyone to pause what they were doing.

The smell of a male orc was something that couldn’t be mistaken by her nose.

"We have company!" Maui screamed, but the other orcs looked confused — then laughed it off.

Maui was puzzled because there was an active threat, but out of the biggest tent came a shredded orc, even by her standards.

She had white, silky hair, clean despite the conditions she lived in, with spiky armor on her shoulders and forearms.

She barely had anything on, but that was to be expected due to the scorching sun up here. Her breasts were covered by metal armor shaped like a bra, and this same armor was visible on her legs, akin to thigh-high socks.

She had a cleaver in hand, so big she had to drag it along the ground. Maui noticed she had collected trophies from her previous prey — but this wasn’t something the Stonehide tribe did.

This could only mean one thing: this woman didn’t originate from this clan. She belonged to the Bonecrush tribe, one of the most violent tribes even for them. But what was a woman like her doing here?

She belonged to one of the main tribes, yet there was something familiar about her.

Maui couldn’t say a word because this changed everything, and the skull strapped to her pelvis belonged to a goblin.

She didn’t say a word and walked in a particular direction before sitting. The other orcs continued what they were doing, and in no time, the climbers reached the peak of the horizon.

They looked confused by how nonchalant the orcs were, but their eyes soon caught a glimpse of the red-eyed woman sitting right in front of them.

"We are no—!" Before the orc could even speak, his throat was slit open with such speed that no one saw her even raise her cleaver.

It looked far too big for her to handle, but she demonstrated her skill with that single move.

The other two orcs quickly distanced themselves from her, and the one in charge seemed to recognize her.

But the orc didn’t say a word and noticed his comrade wanted to speak, quickly covering his mouth.

They dared not speak out of line, or things could go from bad to worse — but all the Chieftess did was smile.

The orcs caught a glimpse of Maui, and Maui instantly knew letting them live would be a bad idea — but why wasn’t he attacking or speaking?

The female orc stood up, but the other orc managed to break free from the leader and charge toward her.

"That fool...!" the orc in charge thought to himself, not daring to raise his voice.

The Chieftess dropped her cleaver the moment the orc was within striking distance.

"I got you now, you bitch!" the orc barked as he leapt from the ground and swung his sword vertically. But just before Maui could interfere—

The female orc grabbed the male by the neck and ripped out his jugular with her claw-like nails. Blood squirted everywhere as she threw him off the mountain, despite being twenty meters away from the ledge.

"What!? Why is she so strong!?" Maui couldn’t help but be mesmerized by the pure show of strength.

This was the strength of a woman who had been exiled by her clan for being too brutal — but everyone thought she had died.

This shouldn’t have been possible, but she had somehow managed not only to tame the Stonehide tribe but also to rule them.

Where were the men? And this orc abided by a senseless rule.

"Do not speak in her presence," the orc knew the only way he could even remotely survive would be by jumping down that ledge — but even that would mean certain death.

"Fuck! This wasn’t in the report!" the orc thought to himself.
