Chapter 234: Episode 234: The Job Still Needs to be Done
"Come with me and get into filmmaking!" Wei Jingzhu said seriously, not at all as if he were joking.
"Filmmaking? That seems a bit technically demanding..." Though Zhou Xueyin had always liked animation and movies, she had never considered pursuing a career in that industry.
"It seems technically demanding, but once you get used to it, it’s not that bad... Look at me, I learned a skill after coming out of online, and now I’m making a monthly salary of 8000," Wei Jingzhu tried his hand in the film industry and it wasn’t as difficult as he had imagined.
"But what could I do? If I went into the film industry, I’d just hold you back..." Zhou Xueyin knew nothing about the production process of films, let alone what she could actually do.
"How could you? Your Photoshop skills are great, aren’t they? You could do digital scenery drawing!" Wei Jingzhu explained with interest what digital scenery drawing involved.
"I’ll think about it..." Zhou Xueyin nodded thoughtfully.
"Alright, the patient needs to rest now, it’s getting late," the nurse on rounds reminded them, stressing that Zhou Xueyin still needed to rest a lot.
A week later, Zhou Xueyin had a comprehensive medical check-up and, once cleared, she processed her discharge.
Even though she had been hospitalized for a week, whenever she had a moment, she’d connect her computer and check on the company, order statuses, and follower growth on Weibo.
Even though she wasn’t physically at the company, everything was still running smoothly, which relieved Zhou Xueyin.
"After you’re discharged, don’t overwork yourself! Rest at home for a month before going back to work! Otherwise, if you relapse, you won’t be able to get better!" the doctor advised with a threatening tone.
