"I’m also confused," Mi Lu confronted Da Boyi unabashedly. "Did you invite me to the hotel room really just to discuss a contract? Or was it to sleep with me?"
"I have a wife, I have kids! How could I possibly..." Da Boyi stopped mid-sentence, realizing he couldn’t follow her lead, and slowly exhaled. "Who says going to a hotel room can’t be just about discussing contracts? Seems like you’re overthinking it, Miss Mi."
"Tsk..." Mi Lu gave Da Boyi a disdainful look. "Spare me the excuses; all the evidence shows that you raped me! If you don’t invest the 1 million you were going to give 51buy into our company, I will call the police and have you locked up!"
"Oh my, I am so scared," Da Boyi mockingly pretended to be frightened, patting his left chest, but he soon recovered his composure. "However...do you really think that you encountered me that day?"
"What, what do you mean? How could it not have been you?" Mi Lu panicked briefly, and started to doubt what exactly happened that day. How could it be that in just the time it took to go up and down in the elevator, everything in the room was back to normal?

"Then? After that, you went to the bathroom and drank a glass of water when you came out... then you collapsed..." As Mi Lu spoke, she quickly covered her mouth.
She realized that Da Boyi was leading her into a trap.
"That’s right! You just said we were drinking. Now you say I drank water? So, did I drink alcohol, or did I drink water?" Da Boyi looked at Mi Lu with a smile.
