The four who managed to break free from the snake’s jaws kept thanking Lu Hong and informed him that Adonis was currently in grave danger, urging him not to venture deeper into the forest and to return honestly to the city ruins with them to wait for Earl Bacon’s rescue.
"I am the support sent by Earl Bacon."

"Yes," replied Lu Hong, "Why were you trapped here? Where are the others?"
"We were scattered by the demon beasts. We were assigned by the general to clear the rear battlefield, but after the general led the team away, our squad of two hundred encountered several stealth attacks by demon beasts. Out of necessity, the captain decided to abandon the clearing mission and led us to find the main force. Despite our utmost caution, we still got separated because of the demon beast’s stealth attacks."
Lu Hong nodded, then said, "I need to continue deeper to investigate what exactly happened in Adonis. You can follow the original path back. The route I took here had fewer demon beasts and is relatively safer."
Having seen Lu Hong smash the giant snake with a punch, unharmed by the poison, and aware of his strength, they knew they would only hold him back if they stayed with him, so they all nodded, "Please be very careful, Sir. We will await your good news."
