Three days flashed by, and Lu Hong awoke in silence. There were no significant changes to his body’s surface, but he could clearly sense the explosive energy contained within.
Bathed in the dew of the Mother Tree, Lu Hong ascended three levels and became a fourth-level Bloodline wielder.
Ascending the ranks of the Lionheart bloodline was troublesome in itself; a level eight Tai’e bloodline wielder was a Demigod. Merely with a fourth-level bloodline, Lu Hong was already not inferior to the Second-Transformation Peak masters. Once he broke through to the fifth level, he could even fight on par with Third-Transition strongmen.
"What a magical Bloodline Power," Hua Cai remarked with slight surprise, before tossing a set of clothes to Lu Hong, "Dress yourself. In a few days, we’ll be heading to the Star Sea. If you have any farewells to make with friends, do it quickly."
With that, Hua Cai stood up and left.
Lu Hong was a beat too slow and didn’t call her back. Currently located in City 008, he couldn’t even say goodbye to Pudas and the others if he wanted to!
Not familiar with the Elf City, Lu Hong didn’t wander around. He stayed by the lake at the top of the Mother Tree, continuously acquainting himself with his newly acknowledged Bloodline Power.
He could now use the Lionheart’s Roar and Lion King’s Descent, which he had previously displayed, at will. Of course, after advancing to level four, he had gained two new abilities from his bloodline — the passive Skill, Robustness, stemming from the third-level evolution, and Damage Mitigation that came with the fourth-level evolution.
The names of the two skills were simple, and their effects were brutally effective. Robustness provided Lu Hong with even greater strength attributes, while Damage Mitigation, as the name implied, reduced the damage he received by ten percent, whether it was physical or Magic damage, indiscriminately.
This was utterly outrageous. A Level four Lionheart bloodline wielder had a huge advantage in combat against others, befitting its status as the premier bloodline under the stars.
