Chapter 1017: Ancestor Of Strength
The Ancestor of Strength. The most terrifying enemy of the human race. This was also the first time Li Xiaofei had laid eyes on the apex predator of the universe.
Its massive body was curled into itself, coiled in such a way that its boundaries could not be seen. Its coarse, uneven skin was as black as the deepest starry night, covered with mountain-like protrusions, interspersed with countless twinkling points of light, as though it were clad in armor made of stars.
It was a terrifying monster. Even in slumber, the faint aura it unconsciously released was enough to reduce any Reaper below level thirteen into dust in an instant.
Sensing Li Xiaofei’s arrival, the Ancestor of Strength opened its eyes. They seemed like two swirling black vortices in the endless void.
“A human?” Its mental pressure surged like a hurricane.
An energy storm erupted, spreading out from the Ancestor of Strength’s body and sweeping across the entire void. The spatial barriers of the void shattered like glass, breaking apart in layers, only to be instantly restored by the reinforcement of the power of laws.
The laws of this miniature world were far sturdier and more resilient than those of the natural realm. Perhaps that was one of the reasons it could contain the Ancestor of Strength.
Li Xiaofei stood motionless. The mental storm and shattered space could not approach within a kilometer of his body.
The Ancestor of Strength’s body began to unfold. The ground trembled and the heavens shook. Li Xiaofei could now make out the rough shape of the Ancestor of Strength. Serpentine. Its body stretched for tens of thousands of kilometers. Just one of its eyes alone was as vast as a star.
Li Xiaofei appeared no larger than a speck of dust before the Ancestor of Strength. Yet the aura and pressure he released were in no way inferior.
