Chapter 633: Who Is He

The Divine Envoy felt every cell in his body and every pore on his skin trembling with ecstatic frenzy. Every Earth would experience such a magnificent feast before it was ultimately abandoned and chosen for destruction. Those who guarded it would be utterly annihilated. Everything it possessed would be taken away for eternity. All that remained would be plundered and squeezed utterly dry.

Witnessing each civilization struggle and resist in their apocalypse, playing out one tragic scene after another, was far more entertaining than watching those dull and hollow space operas in Eden.

This Earth was a little different because it had the corpses of those monsters buried within it. Though other Earths had buried monsters as well, they were dwarfed in both number and reputation of those who were buried in this Earth.

Eden had been repeatedly testing the monsters’ limits. The gods wanted to know what abilities they still possessed. Would they sacrifice their final hope of return for the sake of these blue planets?

The data from previous probing attempts had been mixed. They were both promising and disappointing. But this experiment was of paramount importance.

The Divine Envoy stood high above the clouds. A tide of star beasts surged below him, charging toward the colossal city of Great Xia that was famed for never having fallen.

He attuned himself to even the slightest fluctuations in energy between heaven and earth. His heart was in his throat. Yet, disappointingly, the graveyard remained silent. The slumbering monsters seemed to have truly perished.

... Not coming out? I don’t believe it.

The Divine Envoy looked at the three white clouds in the sky.

Cloud Vortex Barrier.

He could see everything happening within the barrier. The three Grand Commanders of Great Xia, the ones its people took immense pride in, were now trapped in lethal memories.
