When Li Xiaofei entered the Secret Time Pavilion, Tan Zhenwei had already woken up. He was sitting cross-legged and as serene as ever. When he saw Li Xiaofei, a calm smile appeared on his face. It was as if he had just woken up from a dream.
"Father," said Li Xiaofei as he stepped forward and bowed respectfully.
Tan Zhenwei was momentarily stunned. "I have a son? Why was I unaware of this?"
Li Xiaofei quickly offered an apologetic smile as he said, "I’m with Little Ying now."
Tan Zhenwei looked even more puzzled. "Who is Little Ying?"
What the hell?
Li Xiaofei was taken aback.
Is he really playing the amnesia card? This is way too cliché.
He calmed himself and said, "Old Tan, you can’t joke like that."
Tan Zhenwei replied, "I’m a little hungry."
After speaking, he turned and took a fierce bite out of the air.
