Chapter 1001 - 502: Eternal Return
Standing atop a skeleton’s head, wielding the Wraith Calamity Magic Staff, Ling Xue’s gaze was constantly searching for that familiar figure. However, to her surprise, she did not see her own son, nor did she see the glow of the Eternity and Creation God’s Seal Cathedra Rex.

Could it be that the changes at Calamity City were due to him?

In an instant, the wraith legion surged forth like a breach in a dam, charging straight at the Temple Federation’s Legion. The terrifying wraith energy spread like a plague, advancing swiftly towards the front.
The human warriors were prepared to defend to the death, radiating the glow of sacrifice skills on the five God’s Seal Knights. They were willing to die in battle, if necessary, to hold off the formidable enemy; there was no possibility of retreat, for behind them lay all their kin.
Just then, the sky on the humans’ side brightened a bit. It was the time of nightfall, but suddenly a light arose in the sky, making it seem as through the daytime had returned. This sudden brightness momentarily staggered the forward charge of the wraith legion.
Following that, everyone saw a great sun appear in the sky, shedding brilliant gold radiance upon the land. It forcefully reversed night into day as the luminous aura descended.
Next, a full moon appeared beside the great sun—sun and moon vying for glory, with a flood of elemental energy in heaven and earth descending from the heavens and forcefully repelling the plague-like spread of wraith energy.
Amid the interplay of sunlight and moonlight, a nine-colored radiance appeared out of thin air, and a figure surrounded by a faint silver glow emerged high above in the sky.
