Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox

Chapter 808 – Skirmish and Tests

Aiko rubbed her hands as she loaded the armour with a Storm Hammer and few other things.

She really wanted to use the Sword Fan, but she couldn't for the time being as her level was too low.

She would level up later, and the armour would suffice for now.

Aiko wanted to take a few more outfits, but she was already itching for a fight after that crafting time.

With everything loaded, she paid the 20k Soul Points for a few wheels and replaced them.

She could also do the spring but-

"No, I should." Aiko nodded her head seriously.

Outside, everything was very bumpy, so those springs would allow smoother travelling.

With that in mind, she paid another 10k Soul Points for those springs and quickly attached them.

It was not too difficult here, since all the tools were close to her. Maybe she should've done this from the beginning, but it was so hard to move those logs that Aiko couldn't imagine actually doing it.

With everything sorted and loaded. She brought some snacks and food. Not just because she needed it, but because she wanted to eat something tasty on the way.

She also paid additional 5k Soul Points for ghillie, but for the whole caravan.

It also had special effects where it would hide the whole caravan and everyone who was inside, so Aiko would be able to rest as much as she wanted, even if she was in the middle of an encampment...

Well, maybe not the last part, but it would be very useful!

She also loaded her pyjamas and a few other nice things before embarking.

Aiko couldn't buy a horse or anything, since not only was it expensive, but she would also have to feed it and the feed itself was expensive too!

Shaking her head gently, she acted like a horse and pulled the whole caravan.

It was lighter than she expected, maybe because of the new wheels and springs, but Aiko felt like she could actually run with this thing behind her.

However, she wouldn't do that, what if she died of exhaustion again?! Never!

Aiko made her way into the wilderness.

There was a big plain in front of her, which gave her an idea.

She put on the camouflage for the caravan before dragging it again.

This way, she would be able to test her theory if this thing was really overpowered or not.

What she wanted to test was that when she was spotted, she would dive under the caravan, which was concealed by the camouflage and see how her opponents would act. If they dropped aggro, that would be the best, but she would be fine even if they looked around.

The degree of the camouflage was important!

She spotted a small group of uglies and readied her weapons.

It was just a sling, since she had to use armour with that hammer to not injure herself by accident.

The hammer was both huge and heavy, unlike the baseball bat, so there needed to be a precaution before using it.

The uglies spotted her and ran towards her.

Aiko shot one of them straight into the head before hiding under the caravan with another rock notched in.

She waited and waited. Those footsteps got close, but they never lifted anything.

It kind of felt like they were climbing all over the thing, but couldn't figure out how to enter this place.

Soon, those footsteps slowly grew fainter as those uglies left the premise.

Aiko raised her eyebrow. This was a really good thing, but she would still have to be careful.

It worked on normal mobs, but would it work on other monsters too?

It was very much possible that other monsters would keep lurking around to find her or even try to tear this thing apart, but yeeeeeah. More tests were needed.

The second test would be either elite monsters, or something like that.

Those things were supposed to be special, so Aiko figured out that if something were to find her, it would be that thing.

However, getting an elite mob was difficult as it seemed like all of them were probably inside the villages.

This would make the assault a lot tricker, but Aiko could just snipe them from afar and then hide somewhere.

There were some forests around, but they were too far from the actual villages. Otherwise, she would just hide inside the crowns and then slowly snipe them from there.

Aiko crossed the plains and there was only a small distance between her and the village, but still far enough that she wouldn't trigger any aggro.

She did this on purpose, since she wanted to change her clothes to the armour and waltz in there wrecking everything.

With that in mind. Aiko smirked as she changed clothes and prepared for the assault.

"I should've brought the Storm Bow too..." Aiko clicked her tongue. She didn't understand why that thing was called a bow since it was pretty much the size of a siege weapon, but at the same time it would allow her to surprise attack them from this distance.

It would also make hiding easier.

Aiko used the small bow to snipe one uglie and trigger a siege.

She would then hide under her caravan to see if they were able to spot her.

If not, repeat until they all died~!

Aiko cackled like a witch before sniping one ugly. She used about 5 arrows, since the distance was significant, and it was hard to aim in that armour.

Aiko could hear some kind of bell ring, so she immediately hid below the caravan and waited.

"Ugh, this thing is heavy." Aiko complained about the armour, but this thing had the highest defences, so it was obvious why she took this.

She wanted to feel invincible while doing anything and everything she wanted.

Nodding her head gently, she could hear many footsteps approaching.

However, once again, they didn't lift anything and while they did climb around, it didn't seem like they could get inside.

Aiko could barely see outside, so she also spotted a few larger uglies and one huge ugly. That huge one would be a problem, but she had a Storm Hammer. That freaky thing was twice her size, so it would be able to deliver nice damage.

And if it couldn't then it would just pulverise anything in its path~!

Aiko giggled as she heard those footsteps walking away.

She slowly crawled out, prepared her hammer and charged at them.

The uglies were clearly surprised that she suddenly appeared, but Aiko didn't care.

*SMASH*

The hammer collided with an ugly and pulverised it in one fit.

Now, most of those uglies were shaking, clearly terrified, since even the air pressure was noticeable.

Aiko smirked at them through the helm before rushing them down.

The middle-sized ugly used his large club to hit her weapon, but metal vs wood was... well, it was not even a competition, since it was not the wood that Aiko used on her caravan.

*Shatter*

As expected, there was no resistance as she sent that ugly flying.

The largest ugly might be an issue, since it had both a bone and a rock club.

The bone club was huge, making her wonder where they got it, while the rock club didn't seem like it would shatter easily.

Aiko spun her body once with that huge hammer to try and deal with the big one asap, but their weapons collided with an explosion as both of them were repelled while everything around them was demolished.

Aiko's lips twitched. She never expected that with all of her buffs she would be evenly matched in strength!

Carefully sizing the big ugly. He didn't seem invincible. The only thing quick about him were its hands, but the legs were too shabby, making it very slow.

If Aiko could get close to it and deal just one hit, it should allow her to effortlessly finish it.

However, looking closely, that thing was strong and its arms quick, making approach difficult.

'How about endurance...?' Aiko shook her head. That was not an option either since there was a high possibility that she would faint first.

Aiko's Storm Hammer met up with that rock club.

The rock club received some damage, making it crack in a few places, but the bone club was completely intact.

'Now that really makes me wonder what that is.' Aiko's eyes sparkled. She really wanted that, but-

Aiko couldn't dodge the next hit, so she used her weapon as a shield.

There was a loud noise as she was sent flying. The armour was nice, since she sustained virtually no injuries, but she was also slow, so she would be forced to take some things.

'Durability on armour is fine, but I have to be careful.' Aiko didn't feel pressured, quite the opposite. This was quite fun to do~!

Nodding her head gently, she stood up again and walked towards the big ugly.

At this point, there were no other uglies around. Were they gathering more fighters or did they just run away?

The big ugly seemed strong, but Aiko could see that it was nervous.

Maybe because she tanked his hit, but she was visibly hesitant in engaging with her.

Unfortunately for him, Aiko wouldn't let him go~! She would play with him to her heart's content~!

Aiko twisted her body as she lifted the hammer behind her before using that force and trying to smash him.

The ugly noticed that and the hammer collided with his bone club.

*Clang!*

Those two weapons collided and both of them were pushed back, but there was something strange.

'I understand that there is no colour outside, but that's just a fucking bone!' Aiko complained that the bone club was able to match her in terms of equipment!

That was a simple bone, yet it was something she couldn't break or damage! How was that possible?!

Aiko wouldn't be able to avoid any of its hits, so she thought of a plan.

She would just roll under the caravan and wait!

With that in mind, Aiko ran back to her caravan and rolled under it.

The ugly followed her, but once again, it happened.

The ugly didn't lift anything, just tried to climb the thing, before eventually giving up and leaving.

'This is seriously op.' Aiko couldn't believe what she witnessed. It was possible that everyone, but the boss would be completely ignorant about her, allowing her to beat them up from this 'safe area'.

Nodding her head gently, she was now looking forward to it~!
