Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox

First thing first. Witch Aiko took that dirt and conducted some experiments on it.

The first experiment would be-

Nobody had any idea where Aiko found that hammer, but they were concerned that she lost her mind.

She didn't dilly-dally and took another patch with her digging skills. She didn't really want to do the second part, but it was necessary for her research.

"..." The Foxes that were watching immediately went to report it to Jade Fox and others, since this might spell trouble for everyone.

After finishing her abusive session, Witch Aiko was panting. Hurling insults one after another was much harder than her off the top remarks. She should build stamina for this later because-

"It's pure again~" Witch Aiko took that dirt while kneeling.

At this point the Foxes watching really thought that she lost it. Why would she worship dirt all of a sudden when she insulted it just a moment ago?!

They couldn't understand it, and they didn't want to understand it. Even if they tried to understand it, their heads would hurt badly, so it was better to just report it.

Mei came over to see Aiko in the same position the Foxes reported her.

'What is she planning now?' Mei was as tired as she could get, because there was still a lot of work to do...

"Aiko." Mei called to her.

"Mei~" Witch Aiko smiled at her, like she never did those things that she got reports about, before.

"What are you up to this time?" Mei rolled her eyes when she saw the enthusiastic Aiko.

"I have figured out how to get into the 'Holy' Deer territory safely~!" Witch Aiko was very proud about it while still holding that dirt and being overall a bit dirty from it.

Mei used to clean to get rid of the stains and things before listening to her.

"So you are telling me that the-" Mei described the reports to Aiko and what she did. "- Have anything to do with what you said?" She couldn't believe that was the case at all!

"En~!" However, Aiko insisted that it was the case.

"Let's see it then." Mei didn't see anything around here, so she was wondering if that energy messed with her Aiko.

"Right, we need Dai Lu." Witch Aiko nodded seriously.

"... Why?" Dai Lu's dignity was already questionable and now Aiko wanted her to do what? All of that?!

"Yeah, I don't think I can deliver a big enough impact to pacify that energy." Witch Aiko nodded her head with a thoughtful expression. She was considering everything, but it still took her around 200 poundings to pacify that strange energy, so it was obvious that she was not powerful enough to make it work.

"Or you can give me the Muscle Foxes. They will be more than happy to help me." Witch Aiko smiled at Mei, making her even more concerned.

"No, they are currently building the continental flying ship." Mei had to stop Aiko, since she was concerned about what she was thinking about.

"Awww. That's too bad, they would speed up the whole process a lot." Witch Aiko nodded her head seriously.

"We can help." The Nightmare Owl appeared some distance away.

"Why aren't you coming closer?" Mei tilted her head.

"W-well..." The Nightmare Owl was flustered because he listened to Aiko cursing for over 2 hours, and he was quite... No, very scared of her now.

Hurling so many insults like that constantly was no easy feat, and it felt like Aiko had even more insults to throw its way, which was concerning...

"Come over here." Witch Aiko would have none of that.

"Yes, ma'am!" The Nightmare Owl immediately sat in front of the scary Fox since he didn't want to be on the receiving end of 'that'.

"..." Witch Aiko exchanged glances with Mei. "It's miss."

"So..." Witch Aiko cleared her throat. "How do you intend to help me?"

"I can pound the ground for you. I might not be as strong as Dai Lu, but I should be able to deal significant damage." The Nightmare Owl tried to plead his case so that she wouldn't hurl any insults.

"Oh..." Witch Aiko nodded her head. This was a good thing, she would be able to accomplish a lot, and she didn't need to curse out loudly.

"Okay~" Witch Aiko decided to take that help and use it well. He would pound it all the way to the main house of the Ancestral Beast!

"I will get to it!" The Nightmare Owl pulled another hammer out of nowhere and went ahead.

"It's the opposite side." Witch Aiko had to correct him, since it seemed like she was the only one who could see where the energy was.

"O-oh..." The Nightmare Owl was quick on the uptake and immediately pound the ground where Aiko pointed.

"Aren't you scared you attract more monsters?" Mei asked Aiko this question to make sure she thought about it.

"We have both the Nightmare Owl Clan and the Crow Clan behind us, moreover most Foxes are itching a fight so having a nice gangb- *Cough* ganging up on them would not be a bad idea." Witch Aiko also slipped right there, but she fixed everything!

*Staaaaare~*

Mei rolled her eyes after staring at Aiko for a while. "Just don't overdo it, you can't be naughty while we have an uncertain future." The Beast Sect might be very different to what everyone thinks, so there might be some mishaps.

And when it comes to Aiko those mishaps would turn... explosive.

"Alright~!" Witch Aiko chuckled. "Don't worry about it." She patted Mei's shoulder, convinced that she wouldn't do anything like that.

Moving just behind the Nightmare Owl. She watched him as he pounded the ground.

'Why is she watching me...?' The Nightmare Owl sweated. He didn't expect such direct supervision so he was concerned that he would mess up and started to pound it even more vigorously.

"Ohhhhh!" Witch Aiko was impressed by how quickly he was able to pacify that ruthless energy.

'Spare me miss!' The Nightmare Owl sobbed inside his mind, but he would never say those words out loud out of worry.

"You are doing well." Witch Aiko patted his shoulder happily.

'Doing well my foot! My hands are falling apart, sob!' The Nightmare Owl sobbed quietly. He just didn't want to anger this Fox.

"You are doing something interesting again." Dai Lu floated over before landing on her feet.

"Dai Lu~" Witch Aiko greeted her very enthusiastically, but inside her mind she already saw Dai Lu pounding the ground like the Nightmare Owl was doing.

*Flick*

Dai Lu flicked her forehead. "What are you thinking about, hm?"

"Hehehe~" Witch Aiko pulled out her tongue. "How about helping around~?" She smiled at her innocently.

"You know I can read your mind, you little devil." Dai Lu rolled her eyes.

"There is nothing wrong with my thoughts." Witch Aiko denied everything, or rather she didn't think that her thoughts were strange.

"No, how is pounding earth normal?!" Dai Lu shook her head.

Witch Aiko simply went through the process inside her mind.

"Hm?" Dai Lu blinked at her. "There is no way that really works." She denied what she saw, even if it was through Aiko's eyes.

"Hey! That's slander." Witch Aiko snorted unhappily. "I will have you know that if you join we can pound it so senseless that we will be able to raid the 'Holy' Deer Clan!"

Dai Lu sighed. To think that she would even entertain those thoughts was ridiculous, but it couldn't be helped... Aiko already rubbed off on her.

"Fine, give me a hammer." Dai Lu conceded since it was obvious that Aiko would pester her until she agreed.

"Now I just need the Muscle Foxes." Witch Aiko cackled.

"They are still working on the continental flying ship." Dai Lu shook her head.

"That's what Mei said." Witch Aiko clicked her tongue. She didn't have enough manpower.

Then she suddenly smirked. "What if I convert more Foxes into-"

"Alright, that's enough chaos for today, let's go." Dai Lu dragged Aiko next to the Nightmare Owl and started pounding.

The speed of clearing this increased exponentially, because Dai Lu was highly proficient at pounding the start, while Nightmare Owl was able to place down the finishing touches, completely neutralising it.

"With this speed it shouldn't take too long." Witch Aiko didn't expect for Dai Lu to have such a wide range, so while the Nightmare Owl cleared the crumbs, she was making the dough~!

Some time later, Mei came over only to see soil flattened in certain places like they were making some kind of road.

Following that road, she was startled that Dai Lu who was supposed to rest was over here pounding like her life depended on it.

"What are you doing?" Mei couldn't help but ask her.

"I have no idea, but the more I pounded, the better I felt, so I'm just going with the flow." Dai Lu shrugged.

Mei grabbed her wrist and checked her state.

To her shock all the damage done by the absurd energy was healed like nothing before happened!

"Absurd, isn't it?" Dai Lu chuckled, reading her mind.

"I admit. I didn't expect this. "Mei still had some doubts, but seeing Dai Lu back to full health, she was convinced that Aiko was right.

'But I didn't expect this.' As much as she was impressed, she was also terrified. Witch Aiko was too skilled which would attract a lot of attention, be it good or/and bad.

'I should be careful about how I create our faction inside the Beast Sect.' Mei was concerned that they might bully Aiko.

"I think that you should be concerned about them." Dai Lu chuckled.

"How can you say that?" Mei shook her head.

"I saw her mind and how she cursed. There is no way she will be taken advantage of with that kind of tongue." Dai Lu shuddered lightly. She never believed that someone could have such a poisonous tongue!

Mei's lips twitched. It seemed like Aiko learned all kinds of bad things and she was even influencing others! What would become of others if she kept going? Mei worried about that part, but it was not like she could change Aiko. She gave up on that idea a long time ago...
