"Little Ying, get me the Dragon Tooth Grass. My customer wants to take a look!" Little Ting called out to the woman who was busy passing out herbs at the counter.
The woman handing out the herbs was also a server at the Xuan Qing Commerce Guild, but her role was different from Little Ting’s. Little Ting’s job was to guide the customers, while the server at the counter was a Medicine Attendant.
Medicine Attendants needed to have some knowledge of herbs. They were responsible for fetching and handing over herb samples to the guide servers and then to the customers.
The entire Xuan Qing Commerce Guild had its own systematic processes and rules, which were exceptionally formal.
