"Hello, ladies. I don’t believe we have officially met." I smiled as he eyed the two Gryffindors; although Lavender looked quite sexy in her short, light-colored dress, Parvati easily captured my attention. She wasn’t wearing a traditional dress that I had seen many witches wear. Instead, she was wearing a traditional Indian dress with a unique charm. She easily stood out, and when compared to her Lavender, she looked plain.
"See, I told her she’s making me look bad. Even Rigel is completely captivated by her," Lavender complained, though her words had a teasing undertone.
Parvati slapped her friend on the shoulders slightly, her eyes briefly looking into my eyes before she cleared her throat lightly and responded to my earlier question, "It’s a pleasure to meet you officially, Rigel."
"May I have this dance?" I questioned, extending my hand toward Parvati. Her eyes widened in surprise before a happy smile graced her lips as she nodded.
