’Should I have made mine a little more bustier?’ She thought as she looked at Rigel and an unknown woman dancing and talking. It was easy to see that there was a certain degree of tension between them, but then they started talking normally and even smiling. Pansy didn’t really feel threatened by the new witch, as she was definitely a lot older, and from what she knew, she was the only girl in their age group who had gotten together with him.
"... you should see the collection that Father has. There are specimens found in some tombs in Egypt that we recently acquired that look so much better." Draco’s bragging voice, which she had been tuning out till now, entered her ears. Maybe she would have been content with a life of luxury in another life.
’...but should I even follow that path, to be nothing but a mistress, unacknowledged by the world...’ Pansy thought, bitterness flowing through her heart as she watched Rigel and the unknown woman part ways. How she didn’t know someone who looked like she would fit right in the Pureblood circle is quite baffling.
"Do you know who she is?" Pansy asked softly. Her voice caught Draco’s attention as he looked at Andromeda’s figure. Instead of lust, a look of disdain flashed in his eyes as his face contorted ever so slightly.
"That’s Andromeda Tonks, stupid, filthy blood traitor. Why did the Greengrass even invite someone like her in the first place?" He retorted, venom filled in his voice. The table went quiet for a while before Nott spoke up. He has been the quiet one for most of the school year, but recently, he has started to open up a little.
