The maids looking after the Lady, though sold to the farmer family as bonded maids, knew nothing when they were originally bought.
It was Young Master Tang, the housekeeper, who was more enthusiastic. He had a maid from the Tang Mansion come over to train the newly bought little maids!
Even some long-term workers, those working at the Ye family, had professionals come in to train them, for instance, chefs and their apprentices were all trained by professionals!
The little maid seemed to have an internal biological clock; even if there was an hourglass in the room, she would wake up at the crow of a rooster in the countryside!
That crowing was not merely loud as it was followed by the barking of dogs. Though the Ye family didn’t raise chickens in their new house, the neighboring old house kept both chickens and dogs.
The little maid got up quietly, tidied up her clothes, and gently opened the door to return to her own room to freshen up, waiting for the two young ladies to wake up so she could help them wash their faces!
Although there were maids in the house, they were only assigned to take care of the two youngest young ladies, and even the youngest young Master had no maid or wet nurse!
Mrs. Li didn’t entrust her youngest son to anyone else’s care. Two years ago, so many children could squeeze into one room, and now the only addition to the room was a baby.
