"We need to retreat." Konan suggested calmly. This failure could be rectified later, as the most important thing was that they were safe.

Besides, with Kisame and Kakuzu's strength, capturing Sanbi shouldn't be difficult. So, they did gain something from this outing!

Nagato was very resentful and unwilling, but under Konan's persuasion, he reluctantly agreed to retreat.
