Chapter 122: Crocodile’s Delight and Kaido’s Dilemma
Biba exerted force with both hands and easily broke the thick rope at his wrist. He then picked up the short sword that his father had given him when he was a child. He discovered that the blade already had a membrane of Kabane's heart attached to it.
"Biba!"
Biba watched expressionlessly as his father angrily roared at him. He then thrust the blade into her bright heart and watched as he fell down the stairs bleeding.
"Shogun..."
The officials stared dumbly at the body of Kabane that fell in front of them.
Just then, intense gunshots rang out from outside the great hall.
"Report!"
"The Koutetsujou soldiers are launching a rebellion!" A soldier rushed in shouting but was petrified when he saw the situation inside the great hall.
The samurai commander took out his katana and pointed the tip of the sword at Biba. He then said: "Biba...as I thought..."
Before finishing speaking he was interrupted by Biba. "It's not over yet!"
Biba took the loudspeaker to announce to the entire city. "The Shogun has been confirmed to be a Kabane, and there are surely other Kabane mixed in among us, right here in the city!"
