Chapter 10: Imu and The Five Elders
In my previous life, I heard many One Piece fans point the finger that the darkness of this world is caused by the Celestial Dragons. The World Government became so evil and corrupt because they had too many privileges and caused problems everywhere.
In this sense, my current attitude is to be half in agreement and half against.
The reason for not agreeing with that statement is that he has an inseparable relationship with the Celestial Dragons. After all, he is also a Celestial Dragon, more so he is the King of Celestial Dragons, and even the god of Celestial Dragons.
And the reason for agreeing is that he feels that the overall system of World Government is unreasonable and too authoritarian. Basically, it remains the same as it was eight hundred years ago, with little to no progress or change.
This point has a lot to do with the previous Imu, which lacked political literacy and governance capacity. At the same time, he just wanted to maintain the status quo. He believed that change would lead to chaos and felt that all problems could be eliminated with absolute power and force.
Seriously, how many 'Celestial Dragons' are there in the entire World Government?
There are only five or six hundred in total, and not all of them are wandering outside. Most prefer to stay at Mary Geoise. Unless they want to go out for some trivial reason, they have no interest in the polluted air of the mortal world.
Secondly, the royal families and nobles of various countries are also a big problem. Don't think that there are many good royal families like The Nefertari Family, The Riku Family, or The Neptune Family, these families can be described as rare.
In terms of evil, most royal and noble families are not necessarily much less vicious than the Celestial Dragons, Furthermore, their number and scope of influence are much greater than the latter!
But no matter what, putting the Celestial Dragons under house arrest can be regarded as Imu's first change in the World Government.
Don't they cause problems when they go out? Then they won't go out and stay obediently in the 'Domain of the Gods', anyway, there is food and drink there, there is enough space, and there is no shortage of gardens and rivers, so it is not considered abuse.
