As he approaches the fortress, Li Yao utilizes his damage reduction skills; Shield after Shield is shattered.
Moreover, when his health falls below half, he also uses the Dream fruits. Not only does it replenish his health, but it also grants him a Shield worth thirty percent of his maximum health.
It can be said that he is extremely tough. You have to understand, he is now a Race level Chief, although only a junior one and still in human form. But as long as he is not hit in vital areas, his health is still considerable.
