Chapter 136: Dangerous Plan
Inside a hidden stone chamber—completely devoid of any modern technology—everything was made of rough-hewn rock. No lights, no wires, just cold stone and darker shadows.
Baron Strucker trembled as he stepped into the room. In the suffocating darkness, three pairs of eyes shimmered with a cold, predatory gleam.
One pair belonged to his so-called "God."
Another belonged to a man draped in a red cloak and wearing a metallic helmet.
The last was a figure encased entirely in gleaming golden-scaled armor.
Each of their gazes locked onto him with unmistakable menace.
"How is the Terrigen Crystal coming along?" Hive asked, his voice as frigid as arctic steel.
"M-My Lord... it’s ready," Baron Strucker stammered, his knees nearly buckling. These beings—no, these monsters—were terrifying beyond belief.
"Excellent," Hive nodded slightly. "You see, gentlemen... the time is nearly upon us. The Inhuman-Mutant Dominion is about to rise and take its rightful place atop this world."
Over the past few weeks, Hive had sought out Magneto and Namor. With grand promises, he lured them into his plan. Magneto would gain a sovereign homeland for all mutants. Namor would be allowed to expand his dominion over the oceans unchecked.
Both agreed.
