Ever since it became known that Ge Sanni was pregnant, things in the dormitory started to feel a little awkward.
Although most people felt she was a pregnant woman and generally treated her with more tolerance, offering a helping hand when needed,

Yang PeiMin also tried to steer clear as much as she could. She felt she might have a bit of a psychological suggestion going on because seeing Ge Sanni made her feel like vomiting too, and she wasn’t in the best state.
Li Yue lived in the neighboring dorm and often dragged her over to hang out. Originally, she didn’t want to go. When she was in university, there was a roommate who loved to visit other dorms. One day, a girl from the adjacent dorm reported her money missing. Various speculations led the finger to be pointed at the roommate who loved to visit. The accused felt wronged and continually protested her innocence. In the absence of cameras or concrete evidence, people just assumed she was the culprit. In the end, nothing was proven, but she was told not to visit anymore, and her reputation was tarnished.

As Yang PeiMin hesitated, Li Yue gestured, "Forget it, look at you, all scared. Thinking too much can be a problem sometimes. Where are there thieves these days? If caught, would they still want to study or even show their faces around here? But if you don’t want to, I won’t force you. Why not come with me to the lab?"
Yang PeiMin looked into Li Yue’s eyes, brimming with excitement, and felt curious, "Can we go in?"
