Ji Leng's expression momentarily stiffened before fluctuating indeterminately like a flickering flame. In the end, he gritted his teeth and turned to Daoist Croc. "I admit defeat. Kill me or chop me up, it's up to you, but can you let this Dao Friend go?"
Daoist Croc displayed a clearly superficial smile and said, "Do you think...that’s possible?"
The others also sneered.
"Then I have no choice but to fight."
