Overlord: The Multiverse

Chapter 208: Ajuka Beelzebub 2

After they finally left Nazarick, Sirzechs Lucifer, one of the Four Great Satans, turned to his friend Ajuka Beelzebub. Ajuka looked like he had just escaped from the depths of hell itself. His usually calm and composed demeanour was gone, replaced by a deep unease.

"Ajuka," Sirzechs began, his voice laced with concern, "what was that about? It's my first time seeing you like this."

Sirzechs had seen Ajuka handle the most extreme situations without breaking a sweat, so witnessing his friend in such a state was jarring.

Ajuka didn't respond immediately. His mind was still racing, processing everything he had seen and felt inside Nazarick. He was usually someone who prided himself on being able to understand the underlying mechanics of anything he encountered, but this... this was different. It was beyond anything he had ever witnessed.

Ajuka took a deep breath, running a hand through his hair, still visibly unsettled. He turned to Sirzechs, his expression serious. "Sirzechs, you need to listen carefully to what I'm about to say. That thing—whatever it is—sitting on that throne in Nazarick, is not something as insignificant as a god."

Sirzechs frowned, confusion flickering across his face. "What are you talking about? Alex?"

Ajuka shook his head, his eyes narrowing. "I don't think we truly grasp what Alex really is. He's not just some powerful being, Sirzechs. He is Death, or something directly connected to it. I don't mean metaphorically—I mean it in the literal sense. I've seen enough to understand now. If he wanted to, he could destroy all of us without even lifting a finger."

The sheer gravity of Ajuka's words made Sirzechs pause. He had always known Alex was powerful and mysterious just from the red potion which Alex supply to underworld, but this level of concern was unexpected.

Sirzechs had long believed that the ultimate-class devils and the Satans themselves were some of the strongest beings in existence in this world. The idea that something could casually obliterate them was unsettling.
