Chapter 581: Daddy's home

It was a moment Hughes had been waiting for a long time. When he was shot by Envy, he had thought he'd never get to see his family again. But, he was grateful to a certain god for being present there and helping him.
"At least wait for them to open the door before you cry," Alexander said as he stood behind Hughes.
"I just... can't... contain the excitement," Hughes said while crying.
Alexander just sighed and stood back. Soon, the door opened.
"DADDY?" even before Elicia opened the door, she was calling for him. She had been doing this every time someone comes to their place. She expects her dad to appear at any moment. And this was the moment.
"AWWWW... my Elicia, my honeypot, my little angel. Daddy is back." Hughes quickly hugged his daughter in his arms.
Elicia seemed shocked though as she was not expecting it really to be her dad. But after 3 seconds, she started crying loudly.
"Daddy, where were you? I missed you so much. Mommy said you would never come back but I knew our secret. *Sniff* Will you stay now, Daddy?" She cried with a runny nose.
