Ragnarok apparated right in front of Yamamoto. He then grabbed the blade of Yamamoto's sword. "Didn't you hear me a moment ago? I am the dragon god. Fire can't even touch me."
Yamamoto could feel his flames getting absorbed by Ragnarok which in turn was making the pillars of fire go away. He struggled to even move the sword away.
Seeing no option, "Bankai: Zanka no Tachi"
In Ragnarok's hands, the blade suddenly changed and took the form of an ancient and worn out katana, severely scorched by fire.
"Zanka no Tachi, Higashi: Kyokujitsujin (Longsword of the Remnant Flame, East: Rising Sun Edge)"
This move automatically activates at release, this ability concentrates the intense flames of the sword along the tip of the blade. It neither burns nor erupts, but anything it touches is eradicated to nothingness.
"Ah, this is a very powerful ability. If I was not suppressing it, you'd have destroyed the whole soul society or even earth with its heat by now." Ragnarok remarked.
Yamamoto stopped trying to get his blade released and instead he thrusted it towards Ragnarok's chest. Ragnarok had not caught it tightly enough to stop it from sliding.
It moved and touched his chest.
