Chapter 1112: Zia’s First Time
"What are you doing?" Princess Aracelle asked, confused as she watched Zia enter and exit various bicycle shops, empty-handed each time.
"Looking for a mode of transport," Zia replied. Since other vehicles didn’t work, she decided to look for military-grade bicycles.
"You don’t need to do that, you know?" Princess Aracelle said. "I can just carry you and fly wherever you want. Otherwise, Sherry can summon her Avatars and take you."
Sherry nodded, approving Princess Aracelle’s statement.
"I know that," Zia answered. "But what if the two of you aren’t with me? I need to be able to fend for myself when you girls are not around, you know?"
"What makes you think that we’ll leave you?" Princess Aracelle asked.
"I know you won’t leave me voluntarily, but what if there’s some sort of emergency, and you need to fight? I’ll be alone then," Zia replied as she picked the lock of the door of the third bicycle shop to see if they had what she was looking for.
"Not to mention, you guys can no longer open the portal to the Domain of the Apocalypse. If you’re in danger, you won’t have an escape shortcut anymore. I’m also disconnected with my subordinates, so we can’t rely on them to come and help us."
"Right now, only Zed, Evuvug, and Gwenn are on this side," Zia stated. "The rest are in the Domain of the Apocalypse."
Much to their confusion, even the Rings of the Apocalypse had stopped working. Princess Aracelle realized that they might indeed be facing a dangerous situation at the moment.
"I’m sure the Wanderers will also notice that the connection to our side is lost and will send people to investigate," Zia added. "Until they arrive, we must be prepared for any situation—good, it’s now open."
After successfully opening the door, Thirteen entered the shop to browse the bicycles on display.
