"It seems that you’ve made Prince Aurelion fall head over heels for you," Arthur said with a smirk. "As expected of my grandson."
"Gramps, I don’t care about the Dragonkins. But I plan to ally myself with House Pavareth, the Skavari, the Azrakith Court, and the Velmoria Kingdom," Zia replied. "I just need to find a way for them to leave Velmusa City safely, so they can come to my side."
Arthur nodded before telling him the second piece of news that only the upper echelons of the Alliance knew.
"The Artemians reached out to us for an alliance," Arthur stated.
"Against the Jinns?" Zia frowned.
"Yes. Against the Jinns." Arthur smiled faintly. "Their new Commander goes by the name Lysander, and he is open to any conditions in the negotiations."
The young lady’s frown deepened. After all, the Artemians were a tricky race. The Jinns were easier to understand since they were generally simple-minded—all they wanted was conquest.
But the Artemians?
They might be hiding a dagger behind their back while offering an apple with their free hand.
Not to mention, she really couldn’t bring herself to like or trust them. With them around, there would always be a threat of them potentially abducting Shana and Princess Aracelle in order to sire more Golden Azothralls.
Of course, multiple preparations were already made to prevent this from happening.
Although Thirteen hadn’t thought that far, the only children that he wanted them to bear were his children and no one else’s.
