Yang Yi’s confident tone puzzled Anton, although Anton understood Yang Yi’s capabilities.

"Cupid? How could it possibly be?"

Anton was astonished while Yang Yi affirmed confidently, "It’s him, definitely him."

"Did you see clearly?"

"I only saw a blurry figure, but it looked just as it did when I first encountered Cupid and he was escaping."

Yang Yi picked up his handgun.

After taking a deep breath, he said softly, "Where did Cupid go?"

Paul said in a serious tone, "I don’t have a high vantage point here, so I couldn’t clearly see where he went, but he entered the alley between two buildings. If nothing unexpected happens, he should pass through the alley and then through a larger street before he could get behind you."

Yang Yi pondered momentarily and then whispered, "Cupid still wants to kill me, he’s out to kill me!"

Anton muttered quietly, "No kidding, who here doesn’t want to kill you now?"

Yang Yi touched the top of his head with his left hand and then suddenly said, "Hold back the enemy’s attack, I’ll go to where Cupid might appear and wait for him!"
