Chapter 997 - 102: Casual Spear Technique
Yang Yi was somewhat bewildered. From his childhood to adulthood, the education he received emphasized the importance of correctness: the correct posture, the correct behaviors, the correct attitudes.
Keeping correctness was ingrained in Yang Yi’s bones.
"Is having the correct posture wrong?"
"There is nothing wrong with that."
After Ben finished speaking, he thought for a moment and said, "Maintaining the correct posture is important. Using the correct posture in training might feel like a hindrance at first, but once you get used to the correct posture over time, it will lead to improvement. No matter what kind of sport, starting from scratch with the correct training often leads to better results, because a blank sheet of paper is clearly easier to draw on than one that’s already full."
Yang Yi immediately realized the problem.
If he were a beginner, it would be understandable if his pursuit of the correct posture made some of his shooting movements stiff, but the problem was he had already fired at least tens of thousands of bullets; he was no longer a beginner.
Everyone who taught Yang Yi to shoot was an expert; they were some of the best shooters in the world, but why had none of them noticed the problem?
Yang Yi was puzzled.
After hesitating for a moment, Yang Yi said with a bewildered face, "No one has ever told me that my shooting posture is a bit stiff."
Ben shrugged and said, "Perhaps I only know how to shoot, not how to fight. I’ve been working here a long time, I’ve seen too many people shoot. I’ve also seen people evolve from a tense state to a relaxed shooting state. You feel like someone who has not been exposed to shooting for long."
