Brian spread his hands and muttered softly, "This is madness, true madness. Hey, does anyone plan to snap him out of it?"
Yang Yi took hold of Kate’s hand and gently removed it from his collar, smiling, "Why do you all think this plan won’t work?"
Brian gave a wry smile and said, "Please, do you think the people at the CIA are idiots? Or MI5 and MI6? Maybe the Grey-cloaked People are idiots, or perhaps the janitors are thick as planks? Little Egg, the people you plan to toy with are all very smart; you’re essentially committing suicide."
Yang Yi still appeared relaxed, "But I don’t think so. Chris taught me something, ’If you want to deceive someone, treat them like an idiot.’"
Zhang Yong gave a bitter smile and said, "Yeah, but Chris had another line, ’If you fail, just walk away and find another idiot to deceive.’ But your targets, they won’t give you the chance to just walk away."
Yang Yi shook his head, "No, as long as your acting is good, you can deceive anyone. Guess what I’m going to do? That’s right, I’m going to be a double agent in plain sight. I’ll admit I’m a spy for the CIA; acknowledge I work for MI5. I’ll tell the Grey-cloaked People I am a client and collaborator of the janitors.
