Chapter 920 - 925 The Farther You Throw, the Better
Brian and Paul went to the airport; more people had arrived in Baghdad, so Brian needed to pick them up.
Yang Yi and the others didn’t accompany Brian because he surely had to explain certain matters to his former subordinates, such as why he had defected and how he ended up taking the blame for others.
No matter what, Brian’s experience of defection was a scar that could neither be erased nor healed. Whether he was deceiving his own subordinates or finding an excuse to cover up his history of defection, he definitely didn’t want others present during such discussions, so naturally, Yang Yi and his group didn’t follow.
By the time Brian brought people to the Green Zone, he had obviously already spoken with his subordinates, so the atmosphere among them was relatively calm, but there were visible marks of being hit on Brian’s face.
When Yang Yi was sending off Jethro, he happened to run into the newly returned Brian, followed by three newcomers.
One was a thin, middled-aged man looking quite disgruntled, his clothes dirty and carrying an old, filthy leather suitcase; his face screamed despair.
There was also a seemingly normal middle-aged man with some stubble on his face, looking calm.
The last person was rather interesting; he appeared financially well-off, evident from the watch and sunglasses he wore, and despite being in Baghdad, he was dressed up in a suit and leather shoes.
Seeing Yang Yi, Brian cleared his throat lightly, then turned to the three behind him and said, "This is... Sea God, you can also call him Robot, a real genius. Most importantly, he is our boss."
Brian definitely wouldn’t say that this is just a ’little egg’, a rookie who had just started, and now these formerly awesome but currently down-and-out individuals would have to work for him.
Brian would only praise Yang Yi to the skies, for obvious reasons.
