After sitting in the cafe for another twenty minutes, the person who had met with Jethro earlier hurried back, then he directly showed his mobile phone to Jethro.
After Jethro had looked at the phone, he took a picture with his own mobile, then handed the phone back to the person he had met with. Following that, the man left immediately.
Jethro beckoned to Yang Yi, and once Yang Yi sat down in front of him again, Jethro handed over his mobile phone and said, "This is the only photo we could get on such short notice. Take a look and see if it’s suitable."
Yang Yi looked at the phone which displayed a photo that seemed to be an ID picture, a middle-aged military officer wearing a large cap and military uniform. The photo was quite clear, and there was no difficulty in making out the details.
After a brief look, Yang Yi nodded and said in a low voice, "Did you arrange a meeting with him?"
"Yes, this man is Zalzayev, a colonel. His rank isn’t very high but he’s in a very key position. It would be best to win him over; otherwise, he must be eliminated. I arranged a meeting with him but he refused to see me. This means he has no wish to talk at all. Since that’s the case, there’s no point in talking anymore," Jethro said.
In a low voice, Yang Yi said, "What I mean is, since you’ve already arranged a meeting with him, he’ll definitely be on guard. If he contacts Big Ivan and gets protection, it’ll be tough to make a move on him."
"Of course I understand that," Jethro whispered back. "It would be even better if Big Ivan sent someone to protect him. You guys should first look for an opportunity to try. If you find his protection is especially tight, there’s no need to rush. Tell me, and someone else will deal with him. However, whatever the reason, as long as he doesn’t have too many guards around him, just get rid of him."
