Jethro didn’t need to explain everything to Rodriguez. Besides, even if he did, Rodriguez might not understand it all.
"Why did you do that? Did you do it on purpose?"
Jethro was a bit curious, so he didn’t bother explaining to Rodriguez but asked him the question that he was very much concerned about.
Looking at Yang Yi, Rodriguez said to Jethro, "Because you’re the boss, I’m your bodyguard. If someone is insulting you, of course, I’m going to step in. If he dares, let him shoot me dead; if not, he can damn well shut up. It’s that simple."

Yang Yi knew the ins and outs and merely smiled, "All right, take the money when it’s given to you. You did well today."
Jethro said to Yang Yi, "What happened tonight is just the beginning. Ferdinand doesn’t want me getting in his way here, so he will definitely keep targeting me. I either walk away humiliated by him or become cannon fodder in front of Big Ivan’s gun and get myself directly killed, though that’s not very likely."
In a grave voice, Yang Yi asked, "Can you tell me the current situation? What’s the deal with Francois? He seems to hold some status, so whose side would he take?"
