He had completed a task he had always wanted to do but never had the time or opportunity for; however, Yang Yi didn’t feel much elation. He simply felt as if he had effortlessly accomplished a trivial matter, hardly worth any joy.

But looking at Park Ji-yi, who, despite not having much blood on him, appeared to be in a living hell, Yang Yi felt a rather satisfying pleasure.

Being able to rid the world of some garbage, to eliminate some scum, could indeed be quite pleasurable.

Park Ji-yi’s sobbing was not particularly heart-wrenching, but it was especially despairing. He had been held too high by others over the years, so much so that he had inflated to the point of losing sight of who he was. Now, after coming across a group of people who completely trampled him underfoot, Park Ji-yi realized that he was actually nothing.

Under social rules, Park Ji-yi had wealth, power, and influence, but when he encountered people like Yang Yi who simply disregarded those rules, Park Ji-yi could only be slaughtered at their whim.

Glancing at Park Ji-yi, who was dragged out like a dead dog, Yang Yi furrowed his brow and said, "If he’s of no use, just kill him, but don’t let him die too easily."

Anton nodded and said, "Easy to do."

Picking up a short dagger that a killer had dropped on the ground, Anton stepped on Park Ji-yi’s arm and slashed his left wrist, then let go and made another cut on his right wrist.

Blood began to flow out, but slitting one’s wrists wouldn’t cause too much blood loss, so Park Ji-yi would die slowly. It wasn’t particularly painful, but would be extremely terrifying for someone who didn’t want to die.

Park Ji-yi screamed. He grabbed his right wrist with his left hand, and then his left wrist with his right hand. After that, he grabbed each wrist with both hands, trying to get up in a struggle.

Even now, Park Ji-yi wanted to wrap his wounds; he wanted to keep living.
