Brian began to speak, his voice low and soothing. After a long pause, he looked up at Paul.

"My relationship with Charles is more than friendship, more than comradeship, more than brotherhood. You cannot measure my bond with Charles using the common emotions of this world. I would give up everything, I would sacrifice everything to bring back his life. It is precisely because of my relationship with Charles that we can overlook the fact that Charles only mentioned Mike."

Brian took a deep breath, then turned to Yang Yi and said, "I’ll say it again, the living are more important than the dead. When people die, they are dead, just corpses. If conditions permitted, I wouldn’t say this, but under the current circumstances, I must say, forget about their bodies!"
