Yang Yi didn’t find it funny at all.
By now, Bass certainly didn’t harbor any hope of escaping; he was merely astonished that someone managed to kill him inside the Fearless Club.
As Xiao Ran retreated into the room with her gun raised, upon seeing the scene and especially the blood on Yang Yi, Kate suddenly turned her head away. Then, exhaling sharply, she said, "You’re okay, right?"
"I’m fine!"
Xiao Ran spoke in a deep voice, "Move quickly, I’ll go back out and cover you."
Xiao Ran went out again because she couldn’t stand the room filled with blood.
Yang Yi sighed; he didn’t want to say anything more to Bass to vent his hatred. Now, such words had no meaning; he just wanted to clear up a few things.
"Tell me, why are you here."
Bass chuckled, blood continuously bubbling out of his mouth, so when he laughed soundlessly, more blood bubbles oozed out.
Tilting his head to the side to let some of the blood spill out to make it easier to talk, Bass slowly said, "I won’t tell you anything. I’m dying. You have no chance to ask me anything now, heh, you have no chance. Just go to your deaths with doubts and regrets..."
Yang Yi said coldly, "There’s nothing to doubt, nor any regrets. My goal was to kill you, and now you’re dying; my purpose has been achieved, so I have no regrets. Moreover, I don’t have any questions that need to be answered."
