Mike replied in a low voice, "Did you take on Boer’s task?"
"Yes."
"Then you didn’t take on a task, but a problem instead. Do you know why? Because no one wants to take Boer’s jobs. When you called me to get information on Boer Stupike, I knew you had some interaction with him, so I did some digging. Guess what?"
"What happened?"
"Someone wants to kill Boer Stupike, and they’ve already killed his partner."
