Unlike Xiao Ran, who sat on the hospital bed swinging her legs, the middle-aged man entered Yang Yi’s ward, nodded at him, then said formally, "Hello, my name is Patrick."

Patrick appeared to be in his fifties, with a stern expression. Holding a folder in his hand, he nodded at Yang Yi again before moving a chair next to Yang Yi’s hospital bed.
Sitting up straight in the chair, Patrick opened the folder in his hand, looked up at Yang Yi, and said in a deep voice, "Let me introduce myself, I’m the head of Cleaners in the Los Angeles area. To show our sincerity, I will explain many highly confidential matters to you."
After finishing his speech, Patrick took out a stack of documents stapled together from the open folder and placed them next to Yang Yi’s hand, saying solemnly, "This is our sincerity. Please look."
Yang Yi picked up the documents with his left hand and only glanced at them before his eyes widened.
There was a black-and-white photo, a picture of Yang Yi’s father.
Yang Yi did not flip through the documents but, surprised, looked towards Patrick.
With an impassive face, Patrick said, "Yes, we have detailed information on your father because he was a collaborator with the Cleaners, a deeply involved collaborator."
