Mayeux was about to persuade Aeryon to abandon this idea of moving north when the west is not yet decided but when Aeryon said Wustkazan suddenly Mayeux stopped.
Mayeux seem to be thinking of something. It is not that they did not have a northern plan. It is just that at the time when they were formulating the plan, the forces in the north are not simple
But when Aeryon said that he wanted to attack Wustkazan, Mayeux first instinct was to say that Aeryon is confused but then he thought to himself how could Aeryon forget the complicated forces and dynamic of the tribes in the north

Mayeux paced around in the tent and the more he paces around, the clear his mind become and then a smile appears on his face.
"It could be done. Probably this is the only time it could be done. If we wait a little bit later, this opportunity might be close"
