The Yan people has weak spine and weak knees and they bow and kneel wherever they went.
They pat tehri chest and hold their head up high when they meet people weaker than them and when they meet people stronger than them, they bow their head low, prostrate to the ground and kneels and bow
They are a race of flatterer, of liars and killers. Even Roma people do not look highly upon the people of Yan.
They are a race of loudmouthed troublemaker and dirty people. And Mayeux is of course also affected by this thinking.
The people of Yan changes history to their liking and when they kill they uses a thousand words to whitewash their crime.
When people do the same thing to them, they would use hyperbolic words like humiliation of a thousand years and so on and so forth
To Mayeux the people of Yan is even stupider than the people of the Steppe.
The Steppe people at least choose how to die and to whom they would die for and even if they are no educated in the formal sense, they would find a way to seek truth from the lies.
Hence, the people of the Steppe respected the honest people and dislike the liars.
They are easily manipulated but the likes and dislike of the people of the Steppe is hard to hate.
The only reason the people of the Steppe had to be cunning is because they have been lied to by the Yan people for so many years.
