Chapter 61: Her Past
Aeryon laughed. Who knows what he is laughing at? Is he laughing at Garron plans, at Ayera or at himself?
Aeryon is confident of himself. It is very easy for him to kill Ayera. One word and she and her entourage would all be buried here.
But that is the stupidest thing he could do.
He is now allied with the Utgard tribe. Killing her just because of his suspicion would not bode well. Utgard tribe could use such act of oath-breaking as a cause for them to attack his tribe. And with a just cause like that, he could persuade other tribes to attack him
The loss outweighs the gains.
It is better if he takes Ayera to be by his side and dismantle whatever Garron was planning. The more he does that the more he would restrain Garron.
Right now, Aeryon still need time to recuperate. The tribe needs time to familiarize
themselves with the new system
For now, it would be very awkward for them to assimilate the Brolgadhr tribe with other tribes but usually it is only the first time that would be hard
Later, when Aeryon began sweeping all the small tribes in the Southern Great Steppe, it would no longer be a problem if the people of his tribe are already used to it.
He nodded to himself.
